Having recently returned from the beautiful island of Tasmania, I am bursting with inspiration to paint. It has many quaint colonial bulidings and bridges from it's "convict era" and I have started a series on those. Best of all though, are the huge tracts of untouched wilderness. I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of its forests and wild rivers that I hope to commit my impressions to a number of large canvases.
....if I have time, that is. My work, which has much to do with social dysfunction, has shown no signs recently of easing. Such is the world we live in. So this will be my main focus for a while and my painting will have to wait or be done in little bursts. It will be agony holding all those ideas in my head without getting them down on paper or canvas.
